Carrie is a proud wife and mother of 3 children (2 earthside angels, 1 heavenly angel). She was born at the famous “pink hospital” Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, however most of her family resides in Natchitoches, Louisiana . Like most army children she has seen lots of places and loves to embrace other cultures and learn more about their practices. She has worked in military healthcare for 10 years as a medical assistant in the Women’s Health Clinic first at Fort Riley, Kansas and here at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
She has a very special place in her heart for VBAC’s after having a cesarean with her daughter and then a successful VBAC with her son. Carrie is CHI trained as a Centering pregnancy facilitator and newborn care instructor.
When she isn’t at the hospital or supporting a birth, she enjoys cooking and/or baking her specialty Cheesecake. She currently resides in Woodbridge, VA with her husband Christopher and their children Cherish and Carter.
Meet Carrie at the next Meet The Doulas event!
